Our E3DP filament is here to help you stream your creative outlet, enabling you to see your thoughts and concepts engineered into a real and rewarding reality.

The filaments are universally designed and compatible with 3D Printers using 1.75mm diameter filament, with a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.02mm._

PLA, or Polylactic Acid, is a commonly used thermoplastic material that does not require the use of a heated print bed. Blending a mixture of plant-based materials and polymers creates E3DP PLA+. Because of the lower melting temperatures and lack of warping, PLA+ filaments retain their color vibrancy and are a common choice for displays or small household prints. PLA (Polylactic Acid) is derived from renewable resources such as cornstarch or sugarcane.

PLA+ has a much nicer finish and better mechanical properties as compared to the PLA filaments.

Characteristics and Advantages:

  1. Recommended extrusion temperatures: 190-210 ℃
  2. Recommended heating temperatures: 0-70 ℃
  3. Melting point: 165 ℃ – 180 ℃
  4. True diameter: 1.75mm
  5. Weight: 1000 gms material and Spool Weight extra
  6. Elongation at break: 4%
  7. Density: 1.24g/cm³
  8. No jamming: Excellent fluidity, feeding smoothly, stable output
  9. No drawing: Shaping easily, excellent surface glossiness
  10. No bubbles: Critical factor of the filament quality

Benefits of Using E3DP PLA+:

  1. Vacuum packaging supplies to ensure safe transportation and no moisture during transportation.
  2. Longer shelf life after opening(≥3 weeks)
  3. More stable printing
  4. It works with a wide temperature range and there is no problem of adhesion on the construction surface of your 3D printer.
  5. Reasonably strong and not excessively fragile.

The 3D printed object will have a glossy finish, less distortion, easy to use and no heat bed is required. The E3DP filaments are universally designed and compatible with 3D printers using a 1.75 mm diameter filament, with a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.02 mm.

  1. Tamil Arasan

Sexy sheen on this colour. Wouldn’t say that it looks like real gold though

  2. Mike

Strength of this PLA is on the higher side.
I have used this filament to make a stand
for my ender 3v2 which dampen the
vibration during operation. Till now it works
    smooth and fine.
*Low infill will help you save material and
increasing infill line multiplier it help you
Increase strength which is very effective
    with this filament.
Compliant mechanisms can be made even
though it is brittle because it holds much
load before fracture. It will fail no doubt to
it “but how long does it take to fail”
matters and I am satisfied with this.

    -Bed adhesion
Company recommends to use heat bed
@60degreeC and with that configuration it
works well. Since PLA usually don’t require
heatbed I tried without heating the bed
and printed but it seems to warp a bit for
longer prints but if you want it to run so,
use a glue stick which adds to bed
adhesion. So it’s better to stick with
    company’s guidelines here.

Filaments measures up to 1.73mm just
like they have claimed to be 1.75mm and
they have mentioned a tolerance of 0.02
so it is okay. Since the filament Dia is
almost the same we can use it for tight
fits and those require high accuracy like
fits and joints, holes, etc. Calibration cube
measured close to 20mm which is as

    -Overall value
This colour is same as advertised by the company and it looks cool.
Comparing it’s price of around 900 rupees it is worthy and definitely recommendable.

These guys have a collection of PLAs of different colour&composition. I will try them too.
Initially I was doubtful to purchase from Exton due to a review from someone, but turns out that person didn’t know how to print, but if you are facing any issue directly contact the service centre through the number given in the filament package, they do offer great guidance. Overall, I would definitely recommend you to purchase from them.
